19 Oct 2026 Version 9.6 7.1 to 9.6 > Lost Property, Quotes, Complaints & More

7.1 to 9.6 > Lost Property, Quotes, Complaints & More

First, an apology. There have been no release notes for a while, and that is on us. A lot has been going on behind the scenes, and two pieces of it are good news we are really pleased to share: CabbiCore is now an official iCabbi partner, and paid plans have launched, so fleets can now pick the modules they need.

The headline of this release is three new modules for the customer side of dispatch: Lost Property, Customer Quotes and Customer Complaints. Alongside them are better customer ban tools, new zone and operator tools, and improvements across the bulk tools.

Some tools in this release may not be enabled by default for every fleet. If you are interested in one that is not currently available for your fleet, please contact CabbiCore support or request it from the Features panel.

πŸ” Lost Property

A new Lost Property tool lets operators log a lost item from the dispatch console and follow it through until it is returned. Items can be logged against a customer, a booking or a driver, so an item a driver finds before anyone reports it missing still has a home. Available in the Lost Property module.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Logging an item against a customer, a booking or a driver

  • Tracking each item from reported, to found, to collected

  • Seeing matching lost property when you open a customer, booking or driver record

  • Searching all logged items with View All

  • Adding and editing comments on an item

πŸ’¬ Customer Quotes

Operators can now save a price quote against a customer while building a booking, then bring it back later without retyping the journey. Enter the customer's phone number on the booking form and their recent quotes are ready in the console. Available in the Quotes module.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Saving a quote from the booking form

  • Applying a saved quote back onto a new booking

  • Browsing and searching every customer's quotes with View All

  • Fleet admins choosing which quote types operators can save, with an optional minimum price

🧾 Customer Complaints

A new Customer Complaints tool gives fleets one place to record and follow up complaints, attached to the customer, driver or booking they are about. Available in the Complaints module.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Logging a complaint against a customer, driver or booking

  • Your own list of complaint categories

  • Internal notes that stay with the complaint

  • Editing a complaint and seeing its full history

🚫 Customer Ban Improvements

Customer bans have had a lot of attention in this window. When a booking ID is added to a ban request, CabbiCore now checks it in iCabbi straight away and fills in the driver reference and fare for you.

With the new tools, you can:

  • Choose whether a ban can be submitted when its booking ID is not found in iCabbi

  • Set your own wording for the note added to a customer's record when a ban is approved

  • Include customer notes when exporting banned customers

πŸ—Ί Zone Tools

Recurring Zone Blocks lets you mark chosen zones as fully booked on set days and times, and have that repeat on its own rather than being set by hand each time. You choose the zones or zone tags, the days and the booking channels it applies to.

Zone Profiles now has a Range button, the same as Bulk Zone Settings, so you can select a run of zones in two clicks. Zone profile imports are also easier to map.

πŸ›  Dispatch and Operator Tools

A set of new tools for fleet admins to keep the dispatch screen tidy and safe to use:

  • Manual Dispatch Rules (Beta): warn or stop an operator manually dispatching a booking to a driver who does not meet your rules, with a log of what happened

  • Hide Users: keep chosen names out of the operator dropdowns and the staff hours report. Nobody is deleted or changed

  • Hide Inactive Accounts: deactivated accounts no longer appear when searching for an account on the booking form

  • System Settings Transfer: export a system's settings, compare a file against the system in front of you, and import only the settings you pick

πŸ“ Bulk Tool Improvements

  • Fixed Fares export handles large fare lists and can resume where it left off

  • Tariff imports update a tariff's existing schedules

  • Bulk updates and exports pace themselves on large systems

πŸ“Œ Help and News Inside CabbiCore

Guides now sit beside the tools they explain. Where a guide exists, a Watch or Read button appears on that tool in the console, and the Knowledge base is one click away from the plugin popup.

CabbiCore news and feature tips now appear in a small slide-out on the right of the screen. If a tip is for a feature your fleet does not have yet, you can request access from it directly.

βš™οΈ Other Improvements

  • If CabbiCore updates while a page is open, a banner asks you to refresh so you are always on the latest version

  • Plenty of smaller fixes and general reliability improvements across the plugin

❀️ Thank You

These updates continue our work to make CabbiCore more useful and easier to use across different fleet setups. Thank you for sticking with us while the notes caught up.

14 Aug 2026 Version 7.1 A Redesigned CabbiCore Console

A Redesigned CabbiCore Console

The headline of this release is a full redesign of the CabbiCore console, alongside a handful of smaller improvements to Features, bulk tools, and customer ban workflows.

🧭 A Redesigned CabbiCore Console

The floating CabbiCore console has been rebuilt from the ground up. It now opens automatically on hover (switchable back to click in Console Settings) and stays available on every dispatch page, so Features is always within reach. Every popup and wizard across the extension now shares a single, consistent look, replacing the mix of styles that had built up over time.

A new refresh button sits directly in the console. If something looks out of date, one click clears every cache the extension keeps and reloads the page.

🧩 Features Panel Improvements

The Features panel now includes a search box, a "Go to page" button that jumps straight to an enabled feature, and a live count badge on the console. Browsing and requesting features is limited to fleet admins, keeping requests in the hands of people who can action them.

πŸ“ Bulk Tools: CSV Instead of Google Sheets

Bulk Priority Schedules and Bulk Driver Templates no longer need a shared Google Sheet. Both now use a simple upload and download CSV flow instead.

🚫 Customer Ban Improvements

Ban requests can now include several bookings in one go, each with its own amount and driver reference. Banning or unbanning a customer from the Users page now refreshes the table automatically, and the Pending Bans screen lists multiple bookings clearly, one per line.

βš™οΈ Other Improvements

  • Hook Templates is now a shared library across CabbiCore fleets, so an approved template from one fleet can be reused by others

  • Bulk driver, vehicle, and zone updates now pace themselves automatically, with an adjustable delay in Console Settings

  • General performance improvements to reduce repeated network requests

❀️ Thank You

These updates continue our work to make CabbiCore more reliable and easier to use across different fleet setups. If anything does not look right, please contact us through the support form.

08 Jul 2026 Version 6.3 5.3 to 6.3 > Feature Access Requests, Customer Tools & Bulk Updates

5.3 to 6.3 > Feature Access Requests, Customer Tools & Bulk Updates

This release window brings together updates focused on easier feature access, safer customer management, and faster bulk update tools.

Several new tools have been added, and selected existing tools have been improved across support, migration, compliance, and day-to-day operational tasks.

Some tools in this release may not be enabled by default for every fleet.

Previously, if you wanted access to a feature that was not enabled for your fleet, you had to contact support. This release introduces a new feature request option directly inside the plugin, making it much easier to ask for access.

🧩 Feature Access Requests

A new Features area has been added to the plugin popup. This allows supported users to view features for their fleet and request access to features that are not currently active.

Feature access requests are only visible to iCabbi users who have access to the iCabbi Admin area.

This now supports:

  • Viewing active features

  • Seeing features that may be available for the current page or fleet

  • Requesting access directly from the plugin

Once a request has been submitted, we will review it and aim to deal with it as fast as possible.

🧾 Anonymise Customers

A new Anonymise Customers tool has been added for supported fleets. This tool helps authorised users process customer anonymisation from a CSV, with a dry run available before making live changes.

This supports:

  • Uploading customers by phone number or customer ID

  • Downloading an anonymisation template

  • Running a dry run before making changes

  • Processing live anonymisation with confirmation

  • Downloading a result log after processing

Live anonymisation is permanent and cannot be undone, so the tool includes confirmation steps before any live changes are made.

βš™οΈ Bulk Attribute Setting

A new Bulk Attribute Setting tool has been added for driver and vehicle records. This helps authorised users update attributes across multiple drivers or vehicles without opening each record manually.

This supports:

  • Setting driver attributes in bulk

  • Setting vehicle attributes in bulk

  • Selecting all records or selected records only

  • Uploading a CSV of driver or vehicle records

  • Downloading a CSV template

🚫 Customer Ban Updates

Customer Ban tools have also been improved during this release window.

This now supports:

  • Submitting customer ban requests from operator pages

  • Using structured ban reasons

  • Adding optional or required booking IDs, amounts, driver refs, and crime references

These updates are designed to make customer ban and unban workflows clearer, safer, and easier to audit.

❀️ Thank You

CabbiCore is now supporting over 330 users, and these updates continue our work to make it more useful, reliable, and easier to manage across different fleet setups.

28 May 2026 Version 5.3 4.8 to 5.3 > Ban Management & Stuck Job Support

4.8 to 5.3 > Ban Management & Stuck Job Support

CabbiCore is now used by over 315 users, and this release window brings together a number of updates focused on safer customer ban management, stuck job support, and selected fleet-specific tools.

Several new tools have been added, and selected existing tools have been improved to make CabbiCore more useful across support, migration, and day-to-day operational tasks.

Some tools in this release may not be enabled by default for every fleet. If you are interested in using a feature that is not currently available for your fleet, please contact CabbiCore support.

🚫 Customer Ban Tools

CabbiCore now includes new Customer Ban tools for supported fleets, giving authorised users safer and more consistent ways to manage banned customers.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Exporting currently banned customers to CSV

  • Downloading a customer ban import template

  • Importing customer IDs to unban selected customers

  • Unbanning all currently banned customers

  • Requiring a reason when a customer ban is requested

  • Reviewing pending customer ban requests

  • Approving or removing pending ban requests

  • Managing users who are allowed to approve customer bans

When a customer ban is approved, CabbiCore can also add a customer note including the ban reason and optional booking ID.

For fleets using the approval workflow, non-approver users can submit a ban request instead of directly banning the customer. Approvers can then review the request, edit the reason if needed, and either approve the ban or remove the request.

🧹 Clear Stuck Jobs

CabbiCore now includes a Clear Stuck Jobs tool for supported fleets. This action typically had to be done by iCabbi support where jobs would randomly get stuck on occasions.

This tool helps authorised users find a driver, view current jobs returned against that driver, and complete jobs that are stuck.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Searching drivers by ref, name, or ID

  • Refreshing the driver list

  • Viewing clearable jobs before taking action

  • Completing selected stuck jobs

  • Blocking completion for future pickup jobs

🧩 Smaller Updates & Fleet-Specific Tools

A few additional updates have also been included in this release window:

  • Third-party zone export tools: CabbiCore now includes tools to help export zone data from selected third-party systems for migration and setup workflows.

  • Webhook Logs update: For supported fleet-specific setups, Webhook Logs has been updated with improved time zone handling and clearer local time zone selection.

  • Booking Time Zone: For supported fleet-specific setups, CabbiCore can show converted booking times based on zone tags, helping operators understand pickup times across different time zones.

If you would like to use any of these tools and they are not currently available for your fleet, please contact CabbiCore support.

❀️ Thank You

CabbiCore is now supporting over 315 users, and these updates continue our work to make it more useful, reliable, and easier to manage across different fleet setups.

29 Apr 2026 Version 4.7 Versions 4.0 to 4.7 > More Tools, More Control

Versions 4.0 to 4.7

This release window brings together a number of CabbiCore updates across Zone Profiles, Zone Fusion, import tools, and selected fleet-specific workflows.

Several new tools have been added, existing import flows have been made easier to use across larger fleets, and behind-the-scenes reliability has been improved to make CabbiCore more dependable across different page layouts and configurations.

Some tools in this release are feature flagged and may not be enabled by default for every fleet. If you are interested in using a feature that is not currently available for your fleet, please contact CabbiCore support.

πŸ—Ί New Zone Profile Tools

CabbiCore now includes a new set of Zone Profile tools, designed to make larger Zone Profile changes easier, safer, and more repeatable.

These tools are useful when backing up existing configuration, applying changes across multiple profiles, or copying setup between sites.

CabbiCore now supports:

  • Exporting selected zone profiles and sites to JSON

  • Importing previously exported Zone Profile data

  • Bulk updating zone profile backup groups across selected profiles and sites

  • Bulk updating per-zone settings across selected profiles and sites

  • Copying zone profile setup from one site to other sites using iCabbi's Zone Fusion

Exports include both backup group data and per-zone settings, giving users a more complete way to back up, review, reuse, and apply Zone Profile configurations.

The Zone Profile tools include a dedicated bulk update interface with a wider layout.

πŸ“₯ Fixed Fare and Tariff Import Updates

Fixed Fare Import and Tariff Import now support site selection across paginated site lists.

Previously, site selection could be limited when fleets had larger numbers of sites spread across multiple pages. This update makes it easier to select the sites you need, even when they are not all visible on the first page.

⏱ Zone Fusion Bulk Lead Times

Zone Fusion Bulk Lead Times includes clearer save progress, success messages, and error feedback.

Lead time saving is also more reliable, with better handling for inherited and default values.

iCabbi’s Zone Fusion is not publicly released yet and is currently only available in a testing environment.

🧩 Fleet-Specific Updates

A small number of fleet-specific updates were also included in these releases.

These covered selected improvements for rule removal workflows, voucher reference management, and wallboard driver message handling.

These changes only apply where the relevant CabbiCore features are enabled for a fleet.

If you are interested in using any feature-flagged CabbiCore tools, please contact CabbiCore support.

❀️ Thank You

These updates continue our work to make CabbiCore more useful, reliable, and easier to manage across different fleet setups.

As always, if you notice anything that does not look right, please contact CabbiCore through the support form so we can investigate.

18 Feb 2026 Version 3.9 Maintenance & Performance Release

CabbiCore Version 3.9

This is a small maintenance release focused on usability and performance, with no new fleet-facing features in this version.

πŸ”” Smarter Release Notes

We have introduced passive release notes for smaller updates.

Release notes will now only open automatically for major releases. Smaller updates will be delivered quietly, helping avoid interruptions during active work. Release notes remain accessible at any time.

⚑ Performance Improvements

Company Settings Caching

Company settings are now cached for up to 24 hours instead of being requested on every page load.

This improves loading times and reduces server load.

If you need to refresh settings immediately, you can use β€œEmpty Cache & Hard Reload” in the CabbiCore plugin popup.

πŸ“Œ Reminder: Version 3.8 Update

In Version 3.8, we added a bulk re-save drivers option for driver templates.

This allows all drivers to be saved with their current settings, helping fix occasional vehicle linking issues after iCabbi imports and removing the need for manual re-saving.

πŸ›  Summary

  • Less disruptive update notifications

  • Faster performance through caching

  • Improved bulk template reliability
